one of my favorite canadian bands did a beautiful movie about love, music, and relationships. must see.

food. beads. hearts.

love love love this collection. more than the movie, a little less than the book.

so soon...

things are happening so fast. i can't keep up.

it's almost time for this too, how quickly did that happen? only a month and a bit before satc 2!

i don't care what skeptics have to say, i have faith this will be epic.

oh...and i am a little more invested in it now that, well, you know...

p.s. for those that don't know, big is the spokesperson for biotherm homme, where i now work. so we're kinda close now ;)

while switching dvds, i came across broken flowers on ifc and there was this woman on screen who looked so familiar but i couldn't. quite. figure. out...TILDA SWINTON!?

yup. god, who knew how completely chameleon-like she really is!?

fall into him

i have wanted to post about the fall since day 1 of this blog. but every time i do my blog rounds, someone else has already mentioned it. and so, to not bombard everyone, i waited.

if you haven't already, you must SEE THIS MOVIE!! it is beautiful, both visually and in its meaning. you will laugh, and cry and mostly, be in awe of the beautiful landscapes and colors.

and then, you will notice him. lee pace, the most adorable, underrated actor of our time. then, like me, you will watch all the other movies he's in (miss petigrew lives for a day, a single man, the good shepherd, when in rome) and then rent pushing daisies and swoon. yeah, he's that cute!

too early to be this lost

i am not appreciating that lost is on tuesday nights.

first of all, that is cheapie tuesday night at the theatres. do you not want me to go to the movies anymore abc? cause i won't. i can't afford to any other night.

second, you make it really hard to concentrate for the rest of the week. see, i need to analyze everything that happened. watch it at least three more times, and analyze some more. you used to give me the weekend to do that, which was great, cause it didn't interfere with work, just my social life. but no, you got all selfish on us and now all i think of all week is lost.

well abc, you've ruined me. hope you're happy. you're lucky avatar came out earlier this year or i wouldn't have gotten this joke...

a visually stimulating movie, a must see! and i absolutely adored julianne moore's character's home!

it took me a good twenty minutes to figure it out so i will save you the time...the young man is no other than:

there was a theme tonight, that's for sure. nudes, ruffles, sparles and shine. basically, everything i LURRRVE!!

my fave dress of the night: chloe! some say it was more pink in person, but here it looks like the perfect shade of lavender...swoon.

saw it's complicated this week. cute movie. everyone, save steve martin, was perfectly cast. but i was totally distracted by the amazing set desgin. i drool over this house.
