glamorous napping

i love the art deco era, the glam of the 20s to the 40s. the frills, feathers, silk and fur. i think all women should enjoy such luxuries in their bedroom.

this room was featured in the movie miss petigrew lives for a day (second day in a row i mention this movie, can you tell i love it!?)...

i really believe that this era translates well today; in mirrored furniture, metalic accessories, pastel shades in various textures...

yeah, that last one, that's paris hilton's room. a little over the top, but inspirational none the less.

although this is a classic look, it clearly reflects the current trends; pastels, furs, satins and feathers, with hints of harder metals.
